IL6 and laryngeal carcinoma: Secondly, pro-inflammatory IL6 rs1800795 polymorphism was related to a higher risk of laryngeal cancer in a dominant model (p = 0.002, OR = 2.394 (1.376–4.163)) (Table 2 and Table S2), similar to the association found in CG+GG variants with increased oral cavity susceptibility (p = 0.018, OR = 2.265 (1.148–4.467)).
