The analysis revealed specific activation of signaling pathways in the AMLs with the RUNX1-RUNX1T1 fusion, including COX, VEGF, PDGF, and FGFR1, which were pharmacologically inhibited in vitro to show the specific inhibition of the proliferation of AML cells with the RUNX1-RUNX1T1 fusion. This evidence concerns the gene VEGFA and acute myeloid leukemia.
