EYA4 and hepatocellular carcinoma: Previous studies have shown that VEGFA could be regulated by c‐JUN and the expression of c‐JUN was down‐regulated in HCT15 colorectal cancer cells overexpressing EYA4.10, 15 Of note, EYA4 possessed the N‐terminal serine/threonine‐specific phosphatase activity.7 So we postulated that EYA4 regulates HCC cell invasion and angiogenesis through targeting c‐JUN/VEGFA.
