CTLA4 and neoplasm: Moreover, a direct comparison of these genes between hot LUSC and hot LUAD tumors revealed that 7 of 9 of these immune checkpoint genes (LAG3, PDL2, PD1, PDL1, TIGIT, CTLA4, FOXP3) were significantly elevated in LUSC tumor samples (P = 3.30e-5, P = 9.87e-4, P = 4.08e-3, P = 7.22e-3, P = 8.20e-3, P = 0.038, P = 2.57e-3; Figure 5B–5H, respectively).
