METTL14 and breast cancer: Specifically, the expression of the m6A methylases METTL3, METTL14, and WTAP was reduced 1.575-, 1.200- and 1.883-fold in BC samples as compared with normal tissue, whereas that of the m6A demethylase ALKBH5 was 1.523-fold increased, as derived from TCGA data for BC (Fig. 1b).
