The vimentin expression in lymphocytes showed the same tendency, i.e., the septic shock had the highest, the control group had the lowest, and the sepsis group had moderate level of expression (81.65 ± 29.06 and 37.7 ± 14.25 vs. 65.42 ± 14.65, respectively, p < 0.001). This evidence concerns the gene VIM and Sepsis.
