PCNA and cervical cancer: While the present study showed that in cervical cancer cell lines, PTK7 might promote the proliferation via affecting the expression level of proliferation-related factors (Ki67 and PCNA), promoted the invasion via affecting the expression level of invasion-related factors (MMP2 and MMP9) and participated in the development of cervical cancer by promoting the mechanism of tumor cell proliferation and invasion in cervical cancer tissues, and produced a series of biological effects, which in turn affected cervical cancer FIGO stage, and differentiation resulting in poor prognosis of patients.
