The following laboratory tests were performed in all patients with SAT and CS enrolled to the study: thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH), free thyroid hormones (fT3, fT4), anti-thyroid peroxidase antibodies (aTPO), anti-thyroglobulin antibodies (aTG) and anti-TSH receptor antibodies (TRAb), CRP, ferritin, Fe, complete blood count (CBC), creatinine, aminotransferases (ALT, AST), and hepcidinEL concentration in the serum. Here, CRP is linked to Cowden syndrome 1.
