Moreover, there is also evidence showing that single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in NAF1 are associated with cancer risk probably through affecting telomere length14,15; however, to our knowledge, no studies are available to define its role in human cancers, especially in gliomas.In the present study, we observe that NAF1 is dramatically upregulated in gliomas, and find a close connection between increased expression of NAF1 and poor patient survival. This evidence concerns the gene NAF1 and central nervous system cancer.
