The aetiologies of liver disease in the LT group included hepatitis C virus (HCV, n = 9), primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC, n = 5), non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD, n = 4), hepatitis B virus (HBV, n = 2), alpha 1 anti-trypsin deficiency (A1A-T, n = 2), primary biliary cirrhosis (PBC, n = 2) and alcohol (n = 1). This evidence concerns the gene PSMA6 and sclerosing cholangitis.
