Analysis of NSCLC cohorts from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) data sets revealed that PHF5A expression was significantly higher in NSCLC tumor tissues (n = 1016) than in normal tissues (n = 110) (Figure 1A), and compared with the paired adjacent normal tissues, tumor tissues also showed upregulated expression of PHF5A in both the LUAD (Figure 1B) and LUSC (Figure 1C) cohorts. The gene discussed is PHF5A; the disease is neoplasm.
