Since the extracellular expression of TLR10, TLR1, and TLR2 are innate immune molecules involved in pathogen signaling and are highly expressed on cells in BM (Figures 1, 2) and PBMCs (1, 25) we decided to utilize human mammary epithelial (Michigan Cancer Foundation-10A; MCF-10A) cells and macrophage cell lines (human acute monocytic leukemia; THP-1) for further downstream experiments. This evidence concerns the gene TLR2 and acute monocytic leukemia.
