AKR1A1 and Behcet disease: Moreover, some of these, i.e., 2-deoxy-D-gluconate 3-dehydrogenase (1.1.1.125), 2-hydroxychromene-2-carboxylate isomerase (5.99.1.4), benzaldehyde dehydrogenase (NAD) (1.2.1.28), D-3-phosphoglycerate dehydrogenase (1.1.1.95), NADPH2:quinone reductase (1.6.5.5), L-iditol 2-dehydrogenase (1.1.1.14), 5-carboxymethyl-2-hydroxymuconate isomerase (5.3.3.10), and aldehyde reductase (1.1.1.21) clearly showed relatively high transcript abundances, with RPKM values ranging from 9.8 to 102.0, in pathways of BD, ND, BPD, ABD, EBD, XD, and TD, respectively (Supplementary Table S9 and Figure 6).
