In C, only adult height and total self-concept and school functioning were correlated, whereas in GH, a taller adult height and/or greater height gain were associated with better parent- and/or self-reported social competence and social relations, more time spent with friends, higher self-esteem, and better school functioning, as well as less teasing, less loneliness, and fewer withdrawn or anxious/depressed behavior problems.
