In renal clear cell carcinoma, higher expression level of FLRT3 was associated with a better survival of the patients during a 5-years follow-up time (The Human Protein Atlas, 2018a), while in one of the less vascularized cancers, pancreatic cancer (Longo et al., 2016), a lower expression level of FLRT3 associates with better prognosis (The Human Protein Atlas, 2018b). This evidence concerns the gene FLRT3 and cancer.
