To address the clinical significance of CHIP in ovarian cancer patients, we first analyzed public microarray data sets (GSE9891 and GSE13876; Crijns et al., 2009; Tothill et al., 2008) in 285 and 415 ovarian tumor samples, respectively, and found that abundance of CHIP is related to good prognosis (Fig. 6A) and CHIP expression levels are positively correlated with E‐cadherin expression (Fig. 6B). The gene discussed is CDH1; the disease is ovarian cancer.
