CYP19A1 and Impaired glucose tolerance: All 40 participants had normal fasting blood glucose levels (i.e., <6 mmol/L), with six participants in the aromatase inhibitor group having impaired glucose tolerance (glucose level, 7.8 to 11.0 mmol/L at 2 hours after ingesting 75 g of oral glucose) compared with three participants in the control group.
