These analyses indicated that Tomm34 mRNA levels associate with poor overall survival (p = 0.036; HR = 1.29 (1.02–1.64; n = 506), poor progression-free survival (p = 0.0026; HR = 1.42 (1.13–1.8); n = 483) and poor post-progression free survival (p = 0.012; HR = 1.4 (1.07–1.82); n = 325) in patients with mutant p53 cancers (Additional file 2).
