After adjusting for tumour size, multifocality, vascular invasion, extrathyroidal extension, lymph node and distant metastasis, we found that older age (OR: 1.15; 95% CI: 1.00-1.33; p value: 0.047) and negative HT (OR: 0.05; 95% CI: 0.006-0.40; p value: 0.005) were still significantly associated with the BRAF (V600E) mutation. The gene discussed is BRAF; the disease is neoplasm.
