Our results also confirmed that inflammasome inhibitor or ROS scavenger NAC can attenuate LPS-increased HG+H/R-induced injury in H9C2 cells by inhibiting the ROS/NLRP3 inflammasome activation to reduce pyroptosis, which may be a new therapeutic target to mitigate myocardial ischemia/reperfusion injury during sepsis. Here, NLRP3 is linked to myocardial ischemia.
