In addition, consistent with our pre-clinical data in vitro, the analyses from two distinct clinical datasets, TGCA and Rembrandt databases, demonstrate that GBM patients with high levels of the five genes signature, including α6-integrin and its targets, ZEB1, YAP1, FGFR1, and FOXM1, have a significantly shorter overall survival as compared to patients with lower expression. The gene discussed is FOXM1; the disease is glioblastoma.
