We have previously reported that the Ras-PI3K complex is translocated to endosomes, and calcium-dependent activation of Ras-PI3K signaling are required for the regulation of clathrin-independent endocytosis, endosomal maturation, influenza virus internalization, and infection (Fujioka et al., 2018, 2011, 2013; Tsutsumi et al., 2009). This evidence concerns the gene PIK3CG and infection.
