In the TCGA cohort, we also detected frequent methylation of ATP9B (33.7%), GALR1 (95.9%), HSBP1L1 (39.0%), KCNG2 (68.6%), NFATC1 (70.0%), PARD6G (28.9%) and SALL3 (85.9%) in HNSCC (Figure 1b). The gene discussed is KCNG2; the disease is head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
