LMNA and familial partial lipodystrophy, Dunnigan type: In our previous work, we showed that LMNA R482L mutation associated with Dunnigan-type familial partial lipodystrophy contributes to the down regulation of Notch activation in undifferentiated and differentiated mesenchymal stem cells and decreases adipogenic differentiation when Notch is activated, thus supporting the hypothesis that lamin A interacts with Notch pathway [16].
