Recent studies have shown that the HIRA (histone cell cycle regulator) histone H3.3 chaperone complex, composed of HIRA, Ubinuclein 1 (UBN1), and Calcineurin-binding protein 1 (CABIN1), relocalizes to PML-NBs in response to replication-defective herpesvirus infection [17, 18]. This evidence concerns the gene HIRA and Herpesviridae infectious disease.
