MYCN and cancer: Notably, the result of KEGG pathway analysis indicated that hypermethylated genes were enriched in “transcriptional misregulation in cancer” (MEF2C, WNT16, BAIAP3, TFE3, TSPAN7, GRIA3, HIST1H3G, WT1, TLX1, MYCN) (Supplementary Figure 3) suggesting that this may be one of the direct causes of carcinogenesis.
