Given that HAR1’s expression is dysregulated in Huntington’s disease [81, 82] and that two of the lncRNAs with potentially positively selected structures on the human lineage (SIX3-AS1 and TRPM2-AS) are antisense to genes involved in brain disorders [83, 84], we decided to have a closer look at lncRNAs that have been reported to be related to psychiatric disorders (PDs). The gene discussed is SIX3; the disease is Huntington disease.
