The spectrum of diabetes treatment modalities was diverse (Table 3), with 1540 (53.3%) using only oral antidiabetic medication, 365 (12.6%) only insulin, 61 (2.1%) other injectable antidiabetic drugs (GLP-1 receptor agonists) and 577 (20.0%) taking combinations of oral and injectable drugs. Here, GLP1R is linked to diabetes mellitus.
