Some studies have shown that P-cadherin is overexpressed in triple-negative breast cancers above 50%, significantly associated with poor patient survival,[20–22] and shows key effects in some acquired cancer hallmarks, such as increased cell migration, invasion, as well as tumorigenic and metastatic capacity in breast cancer models.[23,24] However, the results of these studies are controversial, and no consensus has yet been reached. Here, CDH3 is linked to breast carcinoma.
