CT83 and cancer: Cancer/testis antigens have emerged as a class of tumour‐associated antigens with promising clinical implications as biomarkers and immunotherapeutic targets for malignancies.31, 32 Many CT antigens have been revealed to be involved in liver cancer progression.33, 34 KK‐LC‐1, a CT antigen with remarkably higher expression rate than that of other CT antigens, possesses a great advantage in cancer targeted therapies.10 However, functional and mechanistic investigation of KK‐LC‐1 in human malignancies has never been reported before.
