In summary, the targeted inhibition of Wnt/β-catenin signaling and COL11A1 (an upregulated gene within integrin signaling pathway) seems to increase the sensitivity to platinum and taxane agents in cancer by deregulating not only Wnt/β-catenin pathway (per se) but also AKT and NF-kB pathways. This evidence concerns the gene COL11A1 and cancer.
