EGFR and cancer: It was concluded that the anti-cancer activities of curcumin might, at least in part, be due to its potent ability to down-regulate AQP3 content in human ovarian cancer cells and that EGF/EGFR, PI3K/Akt and MEK/ERK signaling pathways are involved in EGF-induced AQP3 expression and cell migration in CaOV3 cells.
