GPT and Abdominal obesity: In comparing cardiometabolic risk factors between the groups with and without MetS, most of the cardiometabolic risk factors were significantly more prevalent in the MetS group, including abdominal obesity (70.7%), generalized obesity (36.2%), high BP (44.7%), low HDL (81.9%), high TG (85.1%), high FBG (25%) and high ALT (1.6%) (Table 1).
