The landmark study of Karlsson, Lindblad-Toh and associates included three osteosarcoma GWAS’s in different breeds with high risk – Greyhound, Rottweiler and Irish Wolfhound – as well as supporting evidence for a CDKN2A/B/ANRIL haplotype in other breeds [18]. This evidence concerns the gene CDKN2A and osteosarcoma.
