Specifically, deleting TRAF6 across all T cells (using Traf6fl/fl CD4Cre+ mice) did not adversely affect the mounting of a robust anti‐tumor response, and these mice, in fact, largely phenocopy Treg‐specific TRAF6 knockout mice (data not shown)—a finding in line with the notion that TRAF6 is not necessary for effector T‐cell responses, but is critical for Treg‐mediated immune restraint.
