Among septic shock patients, the overexpression of IL-6, IL-12, INF-γ, and TNF-α was associated with a statistically significant 23.00–41.00% reduction in 30-day mortality, adjusting for all confounders (IL-6 OR 0.75, 95% CI 0.60–0.95, P = 0.015; IL-12 OR 0.73, 95% CI 0.55–0.98, P = 0.0351; INF-γ OR 0.59, 95% CI 0.41–0.86, P = 0.007; TNF-α OR 0.77, 95% CI 0.61–0.96, P = 0.020).
