At 5 weeks, prior to lung carcinogenesis, the four urethane injections led to obvious hypercoagulation in control group, presenting as an increase in platelet counts, platelet aggregation, fibrinogen (FIB) production, and a reduction in prothrombin time (PT), activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT) and bleeding time (BT) (Fig. 2a) which were positively correlated with N2 neutrophils (CD66b+ cells) and NETs (Fig. 2b, c). Here, CEACAM8 is linked to thrombophilia.
