CRP and Thrombocytopenia: Initial investigations revealed neutrophil leukocytosis with thrombocytopenia, high C-reactive protein (360 mg/L), high blood urea (172 mg/dL) and serum creatinine (355 micromol/L), marginally elevated liver transaminases (AST > ALT), microscopic hematuria, ECG showed sinus tachycardia with mild T inversions in V4-V6.
