Abnormal expression of annexin A2 was found in hepatocellular carcinoma and other types of tumors, such as pancreatic cancer [6, 7], gastric adenocarcinoma [8], prostate carcinoma [9], high-grade glioma [10], oral squamous cell carcinoma [11], and breast cancer [12]. Here, ANXA2 is linked to hepatocellular carcinoma.
