Especially, aRVS (allergen-removed RVS) has strong antigrowth and proapoptotic effects on A549 human lung cancer cells and the effects are mediated via the activation of caspases, downregulation of Bcl-2 and Mcl-1, Bax upregulation, p53 hyperphosphorylation, and S6 hypophosphorylation [38]. Here, TP53 is linked to lung carcinoma.
