CXCL13 and its receptor, CXCR5, are required for B-cell homing to follicles in lymph nodes (71), suggesting that aberrant CXCL13 expression may be involved in the pathogenesis of B-cell lymphoma through abnormal chemotaxis of B-cells to tissues or abnormal B-cell activation (72). This evidence concerns the gene CXCL13 and B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
