When their first child with CHB was diagnosed, 46 mothers (54.1%) fulfilled the classification criteria for CTDs: undifferentiated connective-tissue disease (UCTD) (n = 24, 28.2%), SS (n = 18, 21.2%), SLE (n = 4, 4.7%), whereas the others were considered as anti-SSA/Ro carriers. The gene discussed is CALR; the disease is synovial sarcoma.
