The haplotypes of HLA-A*26-B*39, and A*26-B*55 showed relatively high ORs, 10.97 (95% CI:4.12–29.22) and 15.12 (95% CI: 2.40–95.14), respectively, but these haplotypes were rare both in BD cases and controls in Japanese population. The gene discussed is HLA-A; the disease is Behcet disease.
