Treatment with 5-AZA reduced DNMT3b in breast cancer cells and restored the expression of TSGs such as RASSF1A (Ras association domain family member 1) in hepatocellular carcinoma, P53 in melanoma, and cyclin-dependent kinase-2B (CDKN2B) in myelodysplastic syndrome [39,40,41,42].
