Amentoflavone is a bioactive bioflavonoid present in Chrozophora senegalensis. It inhibits VEGF expression by interacting with and inhibiting the production and activation of transcription factor-2, cyclic adenosine monophosphate response binding protein, TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-6, and NF-kB to prevent the metastasis of and angiogenesis in human breast cancer [82,83]. The gene discussed is TNF; the disease is breast carcinoma.
