GPT and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis: Multiple logistic regression, adjusted for age, sex, smoking, systolic blood pressure, white blood cell, platelet, fasting plasma glucose, and triglyceride, demonstrated that FIB-4, the hepatic steatosis index, the aspartate aminotransferase/alanine aminotransferase (AST/ALT) ratio, Gholam’s model for non-alcoholic steatohepatitis, and the BARD score were independently associated with kidney dysfunction.
