Our study, on the other hand, confirmed that in the group without MetS, the level of IGF-1 correlated positively with the levels of fatty acids, namely stearic acid (C18:0), trans vaccenic acid (C18:1), linoleic acid (C18:2n6c), linolenic acid (C18:3n3), eicosanoic acid (C22:1cis11), eicosadienoic acid (C22:2cis11), arachidonic acid (C20:4n6), and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) (C22:6n3). Here, IGF1 is linked to metabolic syndrome.
