Also in line with our above analyses, induction of TBX4 and TBX5 mRNA by Aza treatment in NSCLC lines was more pronounced relative to TBX2 and TBX3. These results lend further evidence to hypermethylation of the TBX2 subfamily, particularly TBX4 and TBX5, in NSCLC cells. The gene discussed is TBX5; the disease is non-small cell lung carcinoma.
