To confirm this hypothesis and provide more evidence to reveal the related mechanism, we first performed CHX‐treated ATF4 degradation test and confirmed the half‐time of ATF4 protein (Table S2), which showed that when FAM175B was overexpressed in two ESCC cell lines, the degradation rate of ATF4 decreased compared to that in the control group (Fig. 5A). This evidence concerns the gene ATF4 and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
