CSF2 and multiple sclerosis: Given that mavrilimumab (95), an anti-GM-CSF receptor alpha monoclonal antibody, and MOR103 (96), a humanized anti-GM-CSF antibody, are currently in clinical trials for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and multiple sclerosis, respectively, GM-CSF could represent a new target for the prevention of GVHD in the GI tract.
